Critical evaluation
In the same way that we aspire to work with our pupils to make qualitative and justified judgements based on the information and experiences that they have, so we as teachers should aspire to go through the same process when we assess their work. Effective learning in the global dimension requires pupils to critically evaluate materials. Effective assessment practice requires us to do the same with pupils' work.
