You will find a series of guidance booklets and handbooks on 'Global Perspectives in the National Curriculum' offering advice, information and useful resources for teaching and learning about global issues across the curriculum.
Global Dimension This is the Department for International Development (DfID) website, which focuses on how the global dimension can be incorporated into the curriculum. It contains an extensive database of resources to support the global dimension in the curriculum.

This activity is suitable for discussion with colleagues or for use during an INSET session.
- Click on the Text icon for the 'Audit' from Global Citizenship: the handbook for primary teaching (Young and Commins, 2002, p. 32).
- Use the goals in this audit as a basis for discussion and deciding the level of progress towards each goal.
- Make an action plan setting out ways that coverage of the global dimension in your school curriculum and in the whole-school ethos could be continued and expanded in the future.
