How does education for sustainable development fit into the schools curriculum?
There has been an increased emphasis on sustainable development education in recent years. The national curricula for all countries in the UK contain references to sustainable development. These may be in terms of the values underpinning the curriculum or in the learning objectives and guidance for individual subject areas such as geography, citizenship and personal, social and health education (PSHE).
