Activity
- Go to the Global Dimension website: Global Dimension
- Use the 'Teaching Resources' link, then you can browse and carry out specific searches for resources and support for your subject(s) and responsibilities.
- If possible, order and try out one resource in your own classroom. You could run a training session introducing the resource to colleagues or offer an 'open' lesson when you are using the resource.
- Go to the 'Cool Planet' section of the Oxfam website: Oxfam Click on and browse the 'Links' at the top of the screen.
- Go to the Development Education Association (DEA) website: Development Education Association Here you will find information on agencies that can provide support. You may like to email the DEA for a list of development education centres, and arrange to visit one, if possible. You could then report back to colleagues on the services offered.
You may find it helpful to compile a list of support and guidance and make it available for use by other staff members. Let the whole staff know it is available.
