• understand the use of auditing tools in identifying gaps and opportunities in the school curriculum and the wider life of the school;
• be able to draw up action plans and set targets for creating the global dimension across the primary curriculum and the wider life of the school;
• be able to create a whole-school policy on the global dimension with an awareness of the issues involved;
• be able to evaluate the progress the school is making towards becoming a global school.
